Rental Agreements and Leases

A tenancy agreement is a contract, written or verbal, between a tenant and a landlord. It provides certain rights to both parties, such that the tenant has the right to occupy the accommodation and the landlord has the right to receive payment for renting the accommodation, among other things. Detailed arrangements regarding the tenancy are also included in the tenancy agreement, so long as such arrangements do not violate the law.
